How To Build a Computer

Posted by LiNuX in Computer

Over the past week, I made a series of videos showing you how to create your own computer from scratch. Due to some issues with uploading to Youtube, I’m only going to post the First part of the video here. There are three parts. You can also visit my website Nazmus.com later on to find the videos much easier there.

Also on a side note, it is my birthday so I thought I’d just share some of my knowledge about computers with the world. Enjoy the video and if you have any questions, please ask in the video and I’ll reply as soon as possible:

Easy Programming - Beginner C++ Tutorial - Tip Calculator

Posted by LiNuX in Computer, Education

A few days ago, I posted a video here on the WebZ Junk Zone of a tutorial video that I created where I show you how to create a program that calculates the area and circumference of a circle. Today, I have another to share with you.

This program shows you how to create a tip calculator using C++. Once again, the tutorial is made by yours truly and it works. This is just another in the series of many programming videos I hope to make and hopefully will make more soon.

I hope you enjoy this video and remember to subscribe to get notified on future program videos!

Easy Programming - C++ - Area & Circumference of a Circle

Posted by LiNuX in Computer, Education

Over the past few months, I’ve worked on making several C++ tutorial videos. This is just another one where I show you how to get the area and circumference of a circle after the program prompts the user to input the radius or diameter and how you can actually manipulate the program to do whatever it is that you need it to do.

It’s pretty easy to do if you can follow it. And yes, the voice is mine as well as all the work. If you have any requests feel free to request and I’ll be happy to see if I can do what you ask. Remember to subscribe and hope you enjoy the following tutorial!

Printer Ink

Posted by LiNuX in Computer

Finding the perfect ink toner or cartridge for your printer can be a pain. For example, finding Epson Printer Ink Cartridges can be difficult because there is more than one form and model of epson printers and the same goes for Cannon, Brother, HP, Sony, Lexmark, and every other printer manufacturer. Just make sure that before you purchase your ink cartridge or toner, that it is the correct model and fit for your printer otherwise you’ll just end up wasting money and time purchasing the cartridge or toner.

The first thing you should do is look for the brand name of the printer. Then look for the model name and/or number of the printer. Then do your search from there. I’ve seen printers with the same model being both a laser and inkjet printer so make sure you get the correct form of ink whether it’s a cartridge or toner.

Change a Graphics Card in a Few Minutes

Posted by LiNuX in Computer

Earlier this month I made the following video that gives you an overview of how easy it is to change a graphics card in just a few minutes. If you follow it properly you can actually open your case, remove your old graphics card, and include a new one in less than 5 minutes. I skipped over a lot of the prerequisites such as anti-static and some of the equipment you may need so make sure you read up on that as well. Enjoy the video!

Database Security

Posted by LiNuX in Computer

If you have a database, it is very essential to get a professional to do some database security work on your database. The last thing you want is for someone to get access to the database without your knowledge and stealing the data if they have a malicious intention. This is especially dangerous if the database contains sensitive data such as social security numbers, credit cards, names, addresses, or even drivers license numbers or car vehicle identification numbers. These all as well as other forms of data can be stolen and manipulated. The same kind of security is needed for networks of any kind whether it is a big intranet in a college campus or a small local area network in a small business office. The need for a good network security software is also very essential to keep intruders out and to make sure everything stays safe, such as your databases.

Hiring professionals to test network vulnerability can also help tighten security. Whether you are trying to secure a database or entire computers to make sure all the information is only seen by those with access. With technology improving exponentially over the years, network as well as database security is something that is absolutely necessary for any company.

Random Access Memory

Posted by LiNuX in Computer

Random Access Memory, also known as RAM, has to be one of the most important part of any computer or server. Without RAM Memory your computer would not be able to turn on. This is the part of the computer that gets all the temporary data from your hard drive and runs it. The more you have the better it is because the more you can do.

Most computers nowadays come with about 1 Gigabyte of RAM which is enough but did you know 32bit Operating systems can recognize up to 4GB ram? With new programs and softwares coming out, the more ram you have the better. Make sure you keep up with the rest of the computer world and get a ram upgrade today. This is one of the most important part inside your computer, don’t neglect it.
