Need New Monitor
My computer’s current monitor is almost 12 years old. Yes people it is almost a dozen years old and it is still working and fighting. It is a Hewlett Packard Pavilion CRT monitor that has lasted me over a decade of fun. It if 15 inches and it still works. But there comes a time when it has to be replaced. Primary reason is that it has become very dark to see, some dark colors look too dark and if something a little lighter is in front, I won’t be able to see it.
LCD monitors usually have much better graphics and feel. But LCDs tend to have a shorter Lifespan. I have looked at some LCD monitors around 17″ diagonally but they are pretty expensive these days. A 17″ LCD monitor costs at an average of $170 which is more than I’d like to spend. But I’ll keep looking and if I find a good one, I’ll post some pics on here.
