Can you believe it? October 2009 is already over. I know I can’t seem to get a grasp of how quickly the month has gone. Although I like free candy, I haven’t gone trick or treating in a while. And I will be at home Watching the Yankees take on the Phillies at the World Series, no way I’m missing the game.

Today is thanksgiving, the day to give thinks to all the things great in your life. We have a turkey already and I can smell the turkey right now. My mom put it in the oven not too long ago and as always, it should be prepared by dinner time.

I did look forward to this little 5 day break and I will eat as much as I can and be thankful for that later on.

Today is October 13th, the second monday of October making today Columbus Day. We celebrate it because Christopher Columbus Discovered the Americas. But back then he really believed he discovered the Western part of India, and that’s why the Caribbean is sometimes known as the West Indies.

In South Dakota they call it Native American Day which makes sense as well. And today I get a day off from classes and I am happy for that. Happy Columbus day people!

August has once again flew away. I have already gone through a week of classes and It isn’t as bad as I thought it would be so I am happy about that. I start my classes at about 1:30 pm everyday but I leave my house before 1 PM so I can get there early.

Hopefully september goes by quickly and same with October and November and let December come because then I can look forward to a good month and a half of break between my two terms.

I only have 3 weeks left to enjoy my vacation. Then I have to start up my second year in college. I am pretty excited about that before I went through my first year in a breeze and hopefully my second year is the same way.

My Headset was destroyed yesterday after being sucked into the Vacuum Cleaner. I was trying to clean my room and I had not noticed that the head set wire slipped onto the floor. And I inadvertently vacuumed over the wire and it was sucked in.

It was ripped off from my USB Port and now I have to get a new one. I do not have speakers, I use my head set for both sounds coming in and the microphone to talk to others over the internet. Hope I can find a good one.
