Garage Storage

Posted on October 10, 2007 by LiNuX

I know people get all worried and they feel like they are in a closed and messy space when they are in their garage sometimes. I have an uncle that lives in Jersey that is a slop when it comes to keeping it clean in the garage. I found a site called CarGuyGarage.com and i recommended their storage solutions to my uncle just a little while ago.

They take any of the wall space and just turn it into another room of your house. I have seen some of their pictures and it is amazing. I mistook one of the garage for a kitchen because of all the cabinats and the flooring. It is pretty cool on how they can save that much space just by putting cabinets on the walls. They will make sure that everything in your garage right now will fit and the you will have space left over to fit more things. If my uncle decides to go through with this, I will try to pop by his house just to see how they actually do this.

Don’t Spam Your Name

Posted on October 10, 2007 by LiNuX

I have owned Gamers Forum for quite a while to know how some people just make a fool of their site and just give it a bad name just by going to other forums and spamming the name. Posts like “visit this site” or “go here” and that seems to be their only post. It is pretty annoying to all forum owners.

If you plan to do anything like this, Don’t!!! Just do it the smart way. Follow forum rules. Get used to the forum members. Discuss something with them. And then IF they allow advertisements, you can go ahead and advertise. Always give a brief description because just a link will flag you as a spammer in most forums. Also those guys with the MP3 and other stupid links, they get banned all over the place, their site name just gets a horrible reputation in more and more forums because of their stupidity. Don’t be like them, play it smart and play it fair.

Online Game Show

Posted on October 10, 2007 by LiNuX

Game shows usually have the objective of one or several contestants winning some sort of prize. Everyone’s dream is to go on game Shows like the Price is Right or Who Wants to be a Millionaire and win a lot of and other prizes. But if you can’t get that chance you can always get on the whogets.com online game show and win other prizes.

You get votes from other members known as “Gets” on that site and if you have the most Gets for the product you want, guess what? You will get that product for free. All you have to do is make a good post or submit a good article or blog post and get some votes. The site has a pretty cool phone that I want so I probably will sign up and see what I can get. I mean, who wouldn’t want any free product?

The iPhone soon to be released in the United Kingdom

Posted on October 10, 2007October 10, 2007 by LiNuX

On September 18, 2007, Apple announced that the UK release date for the iPhone will be November 9, 2007. If you want to buy UK iPhone, you have three different alternatives: the Apple Retail stores, the O2 stores, and The Carphone Warehouse stores. If you don’t want to stand in line, you can order the phone online and have it delivered to you.

On September 18 Apple also announced the final UK iPhone price. If you want to become the proud over of an UK iPhone, you need to cough up £269.00. You also have to sign up for one of the UK iPhone plans offered by O2, the exclusive carrier for the iPhone the United Kingdom. There are three different plans available from O2, ranging from £35 to £55 per month depending on how many minutes and SMS you want your plan to include.

As mentioned above, O2 is the exclusive iPhone carrier for the UK and this has naturally sparked an interest in software capable of unlocking the iPhone. To Apple’s dismay, several programs capable of unlocking American and UK iPhone have already been developed by rouge software experts. One of these programs is even open source and completely free to use for anyone and might become a serious problem for O2. The open source program is however rumoured to be complicated to use and more or less impossible to utilize for the average cell phone user.

Industrial Directory

Posted on October 10, 2007October 12, 2007 by LiNuX

As I have mentioned before a directory is a place where you can go to get information about other places that can help you. Directories usually have categories to help you find what you are looking for easier than just looking at a whole list that lists everything there is. And industrial directory is just a directory that helps buyers and sellers find each other to do business. Zycon is a well known and rapidly growing industrial directory. They are web based so searching through them is pretty easy. One type of product industries may look for is metal stamping. They list all the industries that offers that service and if your business needs one, well you are in luck.

Zycon has used the power of the internet to let the news of their directory be heard all throughout the world. Remember that a piece of paper with your name can only go so far but your name over the internet has power of infinite to go anywhere in the world. If you need some industrial services you can check that site out because they list a lot of information that may help you out. If you have services to offer, well you are in luck as well because they will let you submit your service and hopefully that can bring you some customers.

Don’t be afraid of barbs

Posted on October 10, 2007 by LiNuX

A lot of new aquarists more or less automatically purchase guppies, neon tetras and perhaps an algae eating catfish for their first aquarium, without realising that the aquatic hobby is filled with other fish species that are excellent for beginners. If you want to try something else, why not take a closer look at some of the many interesting barb species? If you are a beginner aquarist, the Cherry barb is for instance a great choice since it is a hardy and adaptable fish that can be successfully kept even by novice aquarists. The Cherry barb is beautiful and with add activity to your aquarium, as long as you keep at least five, preferably more, Cherry barbs together. The Cherry barb is a schooling fish and keeping too few of them will make the fishes frightened and stressed, which in turn can make them shy, passive and prone to illness. They can also loose their colours.

If you are a beginner aquarist interested in breeding fish, why not get a group of Tiger barbs? The Tiger barb is known to frequently spawn in captivity without much coaxing from the aquarist. It is also a hardy fish that will adapt itself to a wide range of temperatures.

There are however some barbs that you should stay away from if you are a beginner aquarist. Getting aggressive barb species is for instance a bad idea since a beginner aquarist seldom knows enough about how to reduce violence in the aquarium. Since a majority of new aquarists have small aquariums, it is also important to stay away from barb species that grow too big. The popular Tinfoil barb can for instance be 14 inches (35 centimetres) long and you must keep at least five of these fishes together since it is a schooling species.

Managing Several Websites

Posted on October 8, 2007 by LiNuX

Some people have more than one website to manage and they do a pretty well job managing them all at the same time. I happen to be one with more than one site of course. I have over a dozen websites. Yes a dozen. I don’t really get to update all of them at the same time. Out of about 6 blogs I update or try to update about 3 of them daily. The others I get to when I have the chance.

Managing several sites takes skills and shows just how well you can manage your time. If you can do it well enough you can manage a dozen sites unlike me which I can actually update about 6 or 7 a day at maximum. My full effort goes into my forum of course. So always think about which site matters to you mose and which you want to give most of your attention to. And use the rest of your time and spread it to your smaller sites. It always works out, trust me.

Banking

Posted on October 8, 2007 by LiNuX

I am not that old and I am not that new to banking. I do have a bank account and that is where I deposited all my money from when I had a job. With that money I’ve bought books for school, food to eat, metro cards to ride the public transportation system, and just spending on everything I need. Saving your money in the bank can help you out and if you have one or saving accounts you can get more money in interest every month just for keeping your money with that bank. That’s something everyone needs because it’s practically free money.

If any of your current accounts are checkings or savings account you should know what I am talking about. If you don’t get any interst from either of these type of accounts, contact your bank and ask them for information. Of course it could be the other way around. The bank could have bank charges and charge you money for keeping your money there then that’s something you don’t really want to get into. Read what you are getting into and go with what works best for you and not your bank.
