Pros & Cons of PayPal Personal Account

Posted on October 8, 2007 by LiNuX

When most people start a paypal account they usually start out with a personal account. It is great because you don’t have to pay any fees for transactions and basically, you don’t have much worries. Personal accounts also let you add and remove bank accounts and credit card information just as a business or premier account would. After you lift certain limits, you can withdraw as much money as you want from that account. That’s a businessman’s dream where you have to pay no fees and you benefit from so many features.

But here are some of the bad parts to a parsonal accounts. You have certain limits. First, you cannot deposit more than $500 into your account per month. So if you have an advertising ploy in hand and you need to spend $1000 for that month, your only hope is to upgrade the account. Also when someone pays you with a credit or debit card, they cut off fees of about 7%. So there is the only fee you have to pay. Also for credit or debit card payments, you cannot receive more than 5 of both a year. Yes a whole year. If you want to get a 6th credit card payment, your only choise is to upgrade to a premier or business account.

Well these are just few of the pros and cons to a paypal personal account. Use it Wisely!

Warehousing & Fulfillment Services

Posted on October 8, 2007 by LiNuX

Businesses these days need warehouses to keep their excess products and it is a place to get items to ship out to all around the world. AMS also known as Advantage Media Serices can offer you just what you need. They offer both warehousing and fulfillment services for you and your business. They are one of the best and most reputable companies that do this and anyone and everyone that uses them trusts them and recommends them to everyone else. They are also the only company out there that offers OnGuard Inventory Protection so you don’t have to worry about misplaced or lost items. The last thing you want happening a day before you ship the item is that it gets lost or misplaced. How will you explain to the buyer if that was your only copy or type of product left?

The company is very proactive so before anything even thinks about going wrong, they will get to it and fix it. It will be like nothing ever happened. They will always stay with your given budget so you don’t ever have to worry about over paying for anything. Unlike other companies that may go a bit over your budget to keep things in line and then hit you with a bill of $1,000 a week later telling you that you have to pay or else you lose your inventory, you don’t have to worry about that at all here. They will never go above your budget and they will always help you save money instead of trying to take it away from you.

AMS is an old and very reputable company and if you ever need warehousing or fulfillment services, you can take them as my recommendations because I have heard some great things about that company. Also if you like their service, you can always recommend others and just benefit everyone. This can and probably will make the economy a bit better and stronger.

Shopping Cart

Posted on October 6, 2007October 6, 2007 by LiNuX

By Shopping Cart I don’t mean that little thing you push around at the local grocery shop. But these are called shopping cart software and is usually used for online stores and any other website that sells products on the internet. You will find big stores such as Circuit City and Best Buy with a shopping cart on the site. When you browse a certain product on their site you can click to add to the shopping cart and then check out later on. It basically works the same way as that grocery shopping cart.

The Ashop Commerce shopping cart is one of the best out there right now. They also give you a 10 day free trial so if you have an online business where you sell products, you can test it out for over a week and see if it works out for you and your customers. Having a shopping cart on your site makes it seem more professional and more organized. You can’t make your customers pay for one thing at a time, this is time consuming and can drive them off, so make it easier for them and yourself and think about getting a shopping cart for your site.

Business Card Readers

Posted on October 6, 2007 by LiNuX

A business card reader is usually tied in to a little scanner that can scan the business card into the computer screen and it is a much easier way to keep contact with business affiliates than keeping a card in your pocket. These business card scanners can be integrated into Microsoft Outlook for easy work and a professional look and management. It’s just a little software that comes with the scanner and it is pretty simple to use since there are no other softwares to install or anything new to learn. And of course the time saving parts comes to mind and this takes just a few seconds to finish, not few minutes, but seconds.

You can find business card readers like the one I just described above on sites such as ScanShell-Store.com. And their little business card readers can even print out cards for you. This is what I was talking about earlier. If you needed to make your own business cards just do this here and you can have one in a few minutes and you can just spread the news about your company a bit more. And you will always have the saved template so nothing to lose on that. Well if you need more information on this and its features you can always check out that site. In the meantime, I will see what I can do and see if I can get a business card for my forum.

When shipping products across the United States or to and from other Countries, the product that is getting shipped gets weighed to see how much the shipping will cost. If you are a bad estimator and you take just less than the amount required to ship it, you will be a little frustrated because shipping companies doesn’t usually let people just pass by missing a few dollars. Business Printing

Posted on September 25, 2007September 25, 2007 by LiNuX

I have mentioned previously that printing out business cards and perhaps letter heads and envelopes for your business. This can be used as a form of advertising and a way to spread the word about your company or business. Of course you can always buy your own printing machines and print out everything you need, how easy is that?

Machines to print your cards and envelopes can cost a lot more money than actually getting it from companies that does this as their primary job. It is their specialty so they don’t waste money or time with other projects. But if you do it on your own, you will have to buy the ink and paper and of course, you have to organize it all by yourself. So just think of this when you want to produce business cards or envelopes. You have to always think of what will profit you and what will take away from the profit.

Display Your Business

Posted on September 25, 2007 by LiNuX

I am sure you have seen some trade shows from one place to another. I actually had one at my old high school where some companies came in with these big display boards giving information out the the students. I always assumed that they are trying to recruit for the future. Trade shows can also be found where major conventions for businesses are held. There, businesses show off their businesses and hope to get other businesses to partner or trade with them. You can get your own trade show displays from Godfrey Group and see how it works for you.

Godfrey Group has trade show display boards of all types. They have a portable exhibit system where you can but your display away and show off elsewhere. They also have table top displays so if you are at a school like the other businesses were at my school, you can display your business on a table so it’s easy setup. And of course, if you don’t like any of their styles, you can have a custom one made. Custom is always better but it usually does cost more. But if you believe that you can benefit from it later, by all means, go for it.

Posted on September 23, 2007 by LiNuX

Timesheets are used to keep track of projects and even employees. You log in the time and activity into these timesheets and these are very organized and can save you a lot of time when you are trying to keep track of your projects later on. Quickbooks Timesheet is when Timesheet 5.6 and later versions are combined with Quickbooks. This makes management so much easier and smoother.

The three versions of Quickbooks, Pro, premier, and Enterprise allows you and your business to manage your financial data much easier than most other softwares. Well it’s easy to install and manage and if you need it for your business, don’t hesitate to get it if you believe this can help you out.

Now with the internet, searching for jobs is much easier than it was 10 or 20 years ago. Back then, you had to go around your local area and ask from place to place if they have a job opening. Well now with sites like Hotjobs, Monster.com, and Insourced.com, you can find jobs in your local area with ease. Search for the job keyword and your location. It doesn’t necessarily have to be your area, but anywhere you feel comfortable. If you are going out to search for your dream job, I wish you good luck.

Campaign Signs

Posted on September 22, 2007 by LiNuX

So what are campaign signs? Well these are signs you see everywhere in the streets or even one that announces a yard sale. It doesn’t necessarily have to be about a an election. You don’t have to run for any type of office to have a campaign sign made. If you have an office for rent or a parking space for rent, you can have a sign made that will get everyone’s attention that passes by the sign. Another instance could be a yard sale, imagine you are trying to sell of everything you don’t need in your house or if you are moving, how will get people to come to your yard to start buying? Of course you can hang up little papers in light poles and other places that allow it, but if its just simple paper, it’ll be washed off by rain or even people tearing it down. You won’t do much advertising through that. But imagine having a huge and very professional sign made just for your yard sale. You can hang it up or put it at the corner of your block to drive people and attention toward your house. You will probably sell more and make more.

CanditateSigns.com is a company that can make you any type of campaign sign you need. Whether it’s for a yard sale, letting everyone know that you have a space for rent, or even if you are running for office. Candidate Signs is the number one yard sign company on the internet. And the internet is world wide so that is huge. They offer a lot of information on their website so if you need any information, you can check them out.

Well I’ll provide you some information that is on their site and save you a little trouble. They offer Paper Signs, Coroplast Signs, and Poly-Bag Signs. They have everything and every dimension to help provide you service for anything you need. If you order enough, it can cost you as low as $1.19 per sign. And if you don’t find your size, don’t worry about it because they provide custom signs as well. Well if you want to spread the word about something you want to do, don’t be afraid to use more than one type of advertising.
