Get out of the Dark

Posted on October 2, 2007 by LiNuX

The bathroom or the restroom as most people like to call it can be seen as a sanctuary to some. And often the bathroom has bad lighting and it is pretty dark. Unless you live at a hotel, your house won’t have a good place for lighting in your bathroom. I have moved at least a dozen times in my life to notice that. My bathroom lighting is always dim or too dark to do things such as Shave. Without light, you can come out looking like a werewolf and not notice.

In my bathroom there are two sets of extra lights right next to the mirror to help me look through the mirror. I can’t really see with the ordinary lighting that came with the bathroom when I first moved it. Lighting Showplace is the perfect place to get lighting for your bathroom. I have gotten mine from elsewhere and I am thinking about upgrading now. Hopefully I won’t come out looking like a werewolf anymore.

Get Your Trophies

Posted on October 1, 2007 by LiNuX

Why are there trophies in the world? These are awards that make people feel great about themselves. This shows them that they are better at something than anybody else. Having a trophy gives you the right to show off and brag to your friends. Of course you can look a little conceited but having a little pride once in a while is good for you and your health. But if you are hosting an awards ceremony or even a contest or tournament for special reasons, where will you go to get the awards and trophies to give out to the winners? Trophy.com of course. They have a wide variety of trophies from Corporate Awards to sports trophies, Glass trophies, medals, Plaques, and regular awards.

I have gotten a few awards in my life time. Only one for sports and I am proud of it. I have gotten medals, plaques, trophies, and awards for academic achievements. And I have gotten many of them. If you ever get the chance to come over to my house, I’ll be happy to show them off to you. I do plan to host a few events in my life whether it’s for school or just fun with friends, hold a few tournaments or so, and I already know where to get my prizes to give out, do you?

Blinds for your Home

Posted on October 1, 2007 by LiNuX

Usually people use drapes or Blinds on their windows to cover the incoming light when unwanted. This is a very crucial part of my life, especially the morning because the sunlight starts to come through my window and into my eye sight which is very annoying. Drapes help sometimes but they can be blown open by winds easy, Just Blinds can do the trick since they are much thicker and heavier than any drapes or curtains ever will be.

Select Blinds offers a wide variety of blinds for you. Well I just wish I stumbled on their site a bit earlier. About a week ago I made a total of 4 trips back and forth to Home Depot trying to get the right size and the right type of blind. I need thicker wooden type ones for the living room because the sun light is direct and stronger that way. And select blinds surely has some great wood blinds. Don’t make my mistake and make 4 trips.

Show Off Your Style

Posted on September 26, 2007 by LiNuX

Everyone has a style these days. We are not in the mideval periods anymore where you have to struggle to get gold coins just to feed yourself. You will find what some people call “bling,” as well as I sometimes, in the bodies of other people. These consist of diamonds, men’s gold chains, rings, and even sometimes men’s wedding rings. Of couse you will find those on the ring fingers of men that are married but these days, people will wear them anyway.

But if you do need some gold for yourself or a loved one and if you wish to ask that special someone to marry you with a special antique engagement rings, then you can check Goldmine.com. I just came upon their site a little while ago and their selection of jewelry for both male and female is amazing. I am no jewelry expert, but their prices are pretty cheap. There are more than a few jewelry stores around me and it is nothing like that. If you are into jewelry and feel the need to have one, you know where to go.

Keep Your Child Safe

Posted on September 25, 2007 by LiNuX

Car accidents are one of the country’s leading cause of death and injury. Drunk driving is the largest factor of these car accidents. Even if you are not the one to drink and drive, there is a bigger chance to be hit by a drunk driver than to be hit by lightning. And if you have a child in your car and you get into an accident, nothing can be more devastating, especially if your child is under the age of 7 without a booster seat. Well Britax car seats may be of interest to you if you really need a good booster seat.

Remember that if your child is not safely secured in his or her seat, he can fly out of the car in the case of an accident. When anyone flies out of a car, there is very little chance of survival. You may also want to have your car checked for front and side airbags. This provides more protection in addition to the seat and seat belt. Protect with any cost.

Counseling is seeked by people that need help in certain criterias. You speak to your school’s guidance counselor to get information or help regarding school work and how you can improve. Social Networking

Posted on September 18, 2007 by LiNuX

Social networking is when you interact with others on the internet. There are many social networking sites now that helps you do that. Two of the most famous ones are MySpace and Facebook. MySpace has come out less than a decade ago and it has over 130 million members. Yes, you read right, over one-hundred and thirty million people are a part of it. It is amazing that people keep on joining just to waste most of their time.

To me, spending time on these sites is a waste of time because it doesn’t really benefit me much. I am a part of them and I do believe it is a pretty good way to keep in touch with a few friends and that’s it. But I really don’t like it when people spend hours to make their page look “hot” or “coor.” It really doesn’t matter to me what your page looks like whether you are my friend or not. It is just a way to keep in touch. Don’t let my opinion alter your thoughts, just had to get that off my chest for now.

In the basement, once we tried to fix the floors by installing new wood flooring, but our measurements were all wrong not once, but twice and we had to hire a professional to do it and it did cost us a lot more money. DoItYourself.com offers you some videos and DVDs that give tips on how you can do household harware fixing yourself. You can even buy fixer upper house and get information on it online.

The DoItYourself DVDs gives you detailed instructions on how you can and how you should do some home improvement projects.
