Designing

Posted on December 4, 2007 by LiNuX

Creating Graphics takes talent and lots of it. I have done a lot of graphics work myself and honestly none of them even come close to the worse work of some of the provessional Graphic Designers out in the world. Their keen sense of colors, layering, and just knowing what goes where beats me by at least a thousand miles and it is the same deal with Programming for me. I have never grasped the skills or even knew if there is a secret to getting it all right. But I will keep on trying and hopefully get as good as any professional graphic designers.

Designing can do anything relating to designing such as an engineer would do or a person designing a new kitchen, but here, I am talking about all tech and gadets with programs such as Adobe Photoshop, Macromedia Fireworks which is now known as Adobe Fireworks, and of course the free software known as Gimp. I have used all three and so far I have found photoshop to help me the most since it’s more organized in one window and I guess it just fits what I need. If you really do try, you can be a professional graphic designer in no time. You can say, I am giving myself advice by writing this post.

Portable Scanner

Posted on November 23, 2007 by LiNuX

Years ago when we had to make a copy of a certain document, we would have to retype the whole thing if you used a type writer or go back to the original computer for the document to print again. Then came the copy machine which are huge machines that you have to place the paper and through clever light technology, it can copy any document put in there. Then came the scanner that allows you to copy any document in your hand and put it straight into your computer for easy editing. Now the portable scanner is out and you can literally take it with you anywhere you want to go.

The ScanShell 200NR is an example of a great portable scanner. If you own a business and you get business cards often, you can carry this with you and scan all the business card received from your affiliates or soon to be affiliates and save it straight into your computer. This is especially good if you are running out of space in your wallet. There is also a software available for Microsoft Outlook so you can send the scanned items to yourself and be just as well prepared as the next business when it comes to knowing what goes where.

Rewritable Disks

Posted on November 20, 2007 by LiNuX

If you want to transfer some files from one computer to another but don’t have an external hard drive or LAN connection set up, you may have some problems. Of course if you have regular CDs, you can always burn the CDs from the computer the files are primarily on and then reopen them on the secondary computer that needs the files. But you could be wasting a CD unless it is a Rewritable Disk.

Inventory Tracking Software

Posted on October 23, 2007October 24, 2007 by LiNuX

Since the technological world is advancing and getting larger and brighter as time goes by, you will see the need to track every item in the world. Tracking systems lodged into inventory items prevents it from getting lost and prevents anyone from stealing the product. You do not want anyone stealing your television, car, HLSM, or any else for that matter. CommanderNE.com offers tracking softwares for power sports, marine and OPE and other products such as ATVs, boats, and even lawn mowers. Believe it or not, it is possible to lose a big lawn mower as it is easier to lose a boat at sea.

The CommanderNE software will help you keep in track of all your inventory along with keep things organized. You can even use their software for parts of items, it doesn’t necessarily have to be the whole object. As long as your item has a tag or even a barcode, you can insert it into your software and it will be there for you until you decide to get rid of it or don’t care about it anymore. The world is truly advancing, later on these will come already installed.

AbtElectronics

Ever wonder where you can get some of the best electronics around without looking too far or in too many places? Well AbtELectronics is a store that can help you do that. They carry products from Air Conditioners to Paper Shredders and Speakers to DirecTV TiVo sets. It really is a great place to get some of your necessary electronics. I have searched over the site for some of my needed products such as another good digital camera. I need one with video feature in it and I am searching right now for what works for me.

I always like to go to electronic stores because I love technology. They also have many of the computer accessories I need such as another memory card and a USB Flash Card. It is an online store that is full of equipment ready to be shipped to your house if you order something. They do offer free shipping so you don’t have to worry about paying extra for a little thing like that. I wonder what I can buy on that site now.

Inkjet Remix

Posted on October 14, 2007October 14, 2007 by LiNuX

If you are like me and have three or more printers, you probably waste a lot of ink. I know I do and I usually go through a whole inkjet of color ink in about a month or so. The black ink usually lasts a bit longer, about 2 months. But I do print a lot and that is for school work, some projects I have, research papers, essays, scholarship applications, and basically a lot of things are just for personal use of printing information. I am so glad that the human race was good and smart enough to make the wonderful product like the printer with its inkjets. Without it, I would probably have to copy everything by hand and I would literally go a little crazy. Well because of sites like InkjetRemix.com I don’t have to worry about running out of ink or even straining my hand copying. They have some extremely Cheap Ink on that site. I have seen some ink cartridges that are sold for $4.50 on the site and its original pricing is well over $20. I mean, why wouldn’t you want to save like that? You are just paying a fraction of the whole price, basically a consumer’s dream.

Inkjet Remix sells some of the Quality Ink Cartridges you can find anywhere in any computer store, technology store, or anywhere else on the internet. I have three different printers. All of them are from HP by the way. It’s not because HP is my favorite brand of computers, well it is one of my top favorite computers, but it’s because my computer is a HP product and usually same brand products go well with each other. I have two big printers for my computer and a photo printer for all my pictures from my digital camera. And Inkjet Remix carries all brands including HP, Lexmark, Apple, Cannon, and Dell. Those are some of the largest computer companies in the world. Cannon is more into photos and digital cameras but I am sure you know what I mean.

Well if you need to fill your printer up with an ink cartridge because you just ran out, you now know where to go to get some great deals. You will only be paying a fraction of the price of what the cartridge is really worth so it is basically a win-win situation for you. You win with a great price for a great product and Inkjet Remix wins by satisfying your needs with their cheap prices and services.

Digi Cameras

Posted on October 11, 2007October 11, 2007 by LiNuX

Digital Cameras have revolutionized the way we take pictures. Since the first flash camera that came out in the late 1800s in the United States where you were only able to take one picture every five or ten minutes and the people had to stand still for a few of those minutes, we have come very far. You can now take over 100s of frames in a second with certain cameras. It is a way of freezing and moving time itself. I have a digital camera and I am very happy with it because it does all I want it to do and it has all the features I need such as digital picture frames with which I can use to import the pictures into my computer and print them out.

In the future I can predict that digital cameras will become smaller, they will be able to capture more frames per second, and there will be more features and colors available. The features in these little cameras are extraordinary because of what they can do. They sometimes go from taking video to still pictures. You wouldn’t be able to say that 10 years ago. Just think about what the digital camera world will be like 10 years from now.

The iPhone soon to be released in the United Kingdom

Posted on October 10, 2007October 10, 2007 by LiNuX

On September 18, 2007, Apple announced that the UK release date for the iPhone will be November 9, 2007. If you want to buy UK iPhone, you have three different alternatives: the Apple Retail stores, the O2 stores, and The Carphone Warehouse stores. If you don’t want to stand in line, you can order the phone online and have it delivered to you.

On September 18 Apple also announced the final UK iPhone price. If you want to become the proud over of an UK iPhone, you need to cough up £269.00. You also have to sign up for one of the UK iPhone plans offered by O2, the exclusive carrier for the iPhone the United Kingdom. There are three different plans available from O2, ranging from £35 to £55 per month depending on how many minutes and SMS you want your plan to include.

As mentioned above, O2 is the exclusive iPhone carrier for the UK and this has naturally sparked an interest in software capable of unlocking the iPhone. To Apple’s dismay, several programs capable of unlocking American and UK iPhone have already been developed by rouge software experts. One of these programs is even open source and completely free to use for anyone and might become a serious problem for O2. The open source program is however rumoured to be complicated to use and more or less impossible to utilize for the average cell phone user.

Media Center

Posted on October 7, 2007 by LiNuX

Ever wish there was a store for all your media needs? Well if you live in South California you don’t have to look too far since you have Super Media Center. Here in New York we have a ton of stores but it’s not anything like Super Media Center. They put all technological products and accessories together and here, you have to go to several stores to get what you need. If you need a cheap HP toner or iPod you just have to go to the same store.

It is a shame there isn’t a branch around here but it’s a good thing that they ship. Their site at SuperMediaStore.com has all their listings and everything they offer. They ship their products via UPS Ground so if you live in the United States you are in luck because ground shipping is available almost anywhere in the country. And so far I’ve checked out a few products that interst me and so far, they all have free ground shipping so you already know that this site is intersting me and getting my attention more than other sites. Wonder what I can buy.

iPod Nano – Next Generation

Posted on October 7, 2007October 7, 2007 by LiNuX

THe next gernation of iPod Nano came out not too long ago and Apple is just getting better and better at making the product much smaller but much more better. Now it is almost half the size of the previous iPod Nano and holds about the same and double the space. The new nano can now hold videos just like a regular sized iPod video without the extra size.

You can get the new ipod at the apple store or anywhere else that sells tech products such as MP3 and CD players. The space on these can go from 4 gigabytes to 8 gigabytes. About double the space of my old version of the iPod nano and quadruple the space of the first generation iPod nano. Price is also cheap and affordable because price starts at just $149 for this new machine and makes it to many people’s most wanted list for gifts this coming holiday.
