Jay-Z and Linkin Park teamed up in 2004 and made one of my favorite albums known as Collision Course. Below is a taste of their music. This song is known as “Numb Encore” performed live. Both of them have won several Grammys and other awards for this song alone. I will post my favorite from that album later on which is “Lying From You – Dirt Off Your Shoulder.” Enjoy the music and the video!
Thoof
What is thoof you may ask. Well it is an online blog type website where you can find news on many things. Whether its the newest videos out, politics, new technology, or business news. These stories are submitted by regular people like you. You can get personalized news just for yourself. You can specify what type of news you’d like to read about. And if you don’t like what they are showing you, you can always change your preferences and get something that would interest you for sure.
Thoof is a pretty good and catchy name in my opinion. It is pronounceable, it is short, and it’s most likely to stick to your mind. Try it. Say THOOF 10 times in a row then see if you can get it out of your head. I’ve tried and it I still remember. I know I know, that I just tried it so I should remember but I will try again tomorrow. The name is interesting along with what you will find in the website.
I myself am a video person. I’ve posted some videos on this blog and I’ve checked out the video section on Thoof. They have some pretty funny videos submitted. The feature I like about it is that if you scroll all the way down, it’ll load more content for you. You can keep going down and never stop. I tried and got tired after 5 minutes. The Summer Heat
Well it’s summer time and its August. August is known as the hottest month of the year not because it’s when my birthday is but because of the scorching temperatures. And cooling off can be very, very hard. Especially in 90+ degree weather. Even here in New York, we get some very humid and very high temperature days. I’ve seen people use air conditioners to cool down but those are just bad for the environemnt. I also saw some backyard misting fan where the whole backyard is full of cold mist. Although it feels very humid, the mist feels very good against your body.
Cooling off is harder than heating up in my opinion. When you are cold, you can run around and play some sports to warm yourself up. But when you are hot and sweaty, you can’t always sit down and not move the whole day in hopes to cool down. You may stop sweating but your body is still hot. Even though air conditioners are bad for the environment, it is sometimes necessary to be in their presense because it can get very hard to cool off even in New York City. I usually turn on my AC when it is absolutely needed. Meaning there is high humidity with high temperatures outside. But there are companies and products that have cooling methods such as the backyard mist fan. There are more than just two ways to cool off, just do some research and you’ll find tons.
