Adsense

Posted on August 18, 2007 by LiNuX

What is Adsense? Google adsense is a way for publishers or website owners to make money from their websites. They just post ads provided by google, funded by adwords advertisers and you get paid by more than one way.

For getting paid, you get paid for clicks and impressions. Clicks meaning your visitors click the ad and visit the advertisers site. Usually they click if they are interested by the ad. Impressions are usually paid after 1000 impressions of the same ad are made. Well doesn’t mean 1000 impressions on your site but the 1000th impression of that site will make you eligible to get paid partial of the cpm or cost per thousand impressions.

Do not encourage others to click because you will get banned since the advertisers lose money from this. I am both an adsense and adwords user and I try to avoid clicking my own ads and I never encourage others to click. Good Luck!
