Posted on June 10, 2010June 11, 2010 by LiNuX

I’ve written a simple program just a few days ago that shows you how to loop very easily with C++ using the ‘for’ function. If you’ve always wanted to know how to repeat a program, watch and enjoy the video and if you have any questions, feel free to ask in the youtube page, I’ll happily respond. Enjoy:

Database Security

Posted on April 5, 2010 by LiNuX

If you have a database, it is very essential to get a professional to do some database security work on your database. The last thing you want is for someone to get access to the database without your knowledge and stealing the data if they have a malicious intention. This is especially dangerous if the database contains sensitive data such as social security numbers, credit cards, names, addresses, or even drivers license numbers or car vehicle identification numbers. These all as well as other forms of data can be stolen and manipulated. The same kind of security is needed for networks of any kind whether it is a big intranet in a college campus or a small local area network in a small business office. The need for a good network security software is also very essential to keep intruders out and to make sure everything stays safe, such as your databases.

Hiring professionals to test network vulnerability can also help tighten security. Whether you are trying to secure a database or entire computers to make sure all the information is only seen by those with access. With technology improving exponentially over the years, network as well as database security is something that is absolutely necessary for any company.

Posted on November 25, 2009 by LiNuX

Random Access Memory, also known as RAM, has to be one of the most important part of any computer or server. Without RAM Memory your computer would not be able to turn on. This is the part of the computer that gets all the temporary data from your hard drive and runs it. The more you have the better it is because the more you can do.

Most computers nowadays come with about 1 Gigabyte of RAM which is enough but did you know 32bit Operating systems can recognize up to 4GB ram? With new programs and softwares coming out, the more ram you have the better. Make sure you keep up with the rest of the computer world and get a ram upgrade today. Clock Keeps Slowing

Posted on September 13, 2008September 15, 2008 by LiNuX

My Computer’s clock is having some issues. I haven’t restarted my computer in a few months and I don’t plan to do that any time soon. But anyway the problem is that every day it goes back 2 minutes. No 2 minutes a day but its just 2 minutes slower than the normal time.

I can either manually change it synchronize with the internet but less than 24 hours later it goes back to being 2 minutes slow. Hopefully I can find a solution because I don’t like to have the wrong time all the time. Inefficient.

Laptop Fixed

Posted on September 5, 2008September 9, 2008 by LiNuX

At the beginning of my summer break I told you about my lenovo laptop that just messed up out of no where. Touchpad wouldn’t let me do anything and it just got really slow.

But earlier today One of my classes was cancelled and I took the opportunity to take my laptop to the laptop shop at my campus and had it fixed within 30 minutes. I also had an upgrade done which gave me Microsoft Office 2007 so I am happy about that. And Happy that I can use my laptop to the fullest extent again.

Won Two Routers

Posted on June 4, 2008 by LiNuX

Yesterday I was bidding on a few routers on eBay for my parent’s store. I was only coming close to win one at around 9 pm and I won a netgear refurbished router. And then I noticed I had bid on another router two days ago and I was winning that too.

Since I wasn’t paying attention and Since I bid on this days before and there was just a few minutes left to the auction, I could not retract my bid and there was no reason for that any way so I was hoping to get outbid at some point. But that hope didn’t come into play and I had to pay for both routers within two hours and now I have to figure out how to get rid of one later on.
