The last time I logged into this blog was on February 1st which is approximately 4 days ago. And in those 4 days I had gotten about 525 comments to moderate. That’s an average of well over 125 comments per day. It really is surprising.

Buzzfuse
Buzzfuse is an online service that a lot of blog owners should be excited about including myself. They help blogs get loads of traffic after submitting images and stories from your blogs into their engine. This is type of a social bookmarking site that works very well and many people have seen success from this.
I have just signed up with their service and I am still in the process of figuring stuff out. Because trust me, I would not mind at all getting some extra visitors to my blog, especially this one. Well I’d actually be grateful for a bit more traffic coming my way. Buzzfuse is an attractive and clever name because it is out to make a buzz about your blog’s news. Hopefully I can implement that into my blogs and get some extra traffic. You should do the same if you have blogs for yourself.
Getting Rid of Hosts
I currently have about four sources of host and that means four separate bills for my hosting. Slowly I will be giving up three of these hosts and move all my sites to just one host account. It will be easier to manage and it will only give me one bill to review every month so it is much easier to keep track of if you know what I mean.

Election Qlips
ElectionQlips is an unique site where you can find clips regarding our current election process. You can find clips on stories done on such sites and news channels such as CNN. And also get the heads up news on what you can expect in the up coming presidential election race and its candidates.
I found some of the topics to be very interesting. And below is a press release by Qlip Media that explains a bit more on what they do and what type of information they can provide for you. If you miss out on some of the election news, you can now get it from Election Qlips, very clever name if you ask me.
QlipMedia (http://www.qlipmedia.com) has just launched the public beta version of ElectionQlips (http://www.electionqlips.com), a new destination to discuss all that is Election 2008. Readers can share their comments with the community and leave comments on Presidential Election themed video posts using their recorded voice, free-hand drawing, and images to let everyone know what they think and how they feel about every point in the posted debates, ads, punditry and stump speeches.
As the nation’s attention increasingly focuses on the outcomes of the ongoing primary elections and the general election to follow this November, viewers of ElectionQlips can stayed tuned to all the exciting action, including voice and video comments of their fellow citizens. And anyone can bring their wit and wisdom to bear on the debate of the moment, commenting to their heart’s content with their own voice and images.
The blogosphere has always been about giving a voice to common ‘netizens’, while democratizing the dissemination of the news and opinion. But heretofore that voice has been confined to the two dimensional world of the written word. The broad appeal of video has added a third dimension, a layer of contextual relevancy just not possible with the written word alone. Blog commenting has been similarly constrained by the same technical barriers. ElectionQlips brings multimedia blogging full circle, giving blog commenters the ability to post live, multimedia comments right on the videos they’re viewing in their own voice, using their own doodles and images.
• 100+ million blogs in existence
• 1.5 million blog posts per day
• 1 blog with multimedia commenting capabilityElectionQlips users can take their election debate with them by sharing the link and embedding the player anywhere. On the video timeline, it’s easy to bring out all the facts with every detail of the debate through point-by-point analysis. The density of comments at every point let’s one see what’s hot and what’s not in every debate.
The goal of ElectionQlips is to make it possible for everyone to participate in any debate, discussion and controversy using their own voice. Commenting on blog posts is a common enough, ElectionQlips gives an edge over other contemporary election blogs, especially with respect to sharing your comments and opinions.

When to Transfer Domains
People often ask the question “when should I transfer my domain?” And that usually regards to transferring to another domain registrar to renew and just leave the old one. Some people think its good to do it the day before it expires and that is a very, very bad idea. Some registrars won’t let you do it if it’s less than 5 days to expiration.

Efile your Taxes
You can efile OR file your taxes OR efile taxes or whatever else it is that you want to say. They all mean the same and have the same outcome at the end. This just means that you are filing your taxes online and it isn’t something that is very new nor is it very old to our society. Every year the United States government, mainly the IRS or Internal Revenue Service mandates all people living in the United States to pay taxes and you MUST report to them how much you have made in the past year and what the sources of payments were. If you do not do this you could go to jail so trust me, you should do this.
Again this is for US residents unless some other countries mandate this as well. You can efile your taxes on sites such as FileYourTaxesNow.com and just get it over with. There is a deadline every year and I am not sure of this year’s deadline so please be sure to check. You do not want to file your taxes late because they will charge you a fine and at the end if you do not pay at all, the government can go into your bank account and take the money that you owe them. So save yourself some times and efile your taxes or just do it the old traditional way if you wish.
Happy February
In less than 10 minutes the clocks here at the East Coast of the United States turn and we finally hit February. The month of January has gone by very quickly if you ask me. Last thing I remember is celebrating the new years with my family and then poof, it’s february.
Hopefully February will be a better month for me. But on Saturday February 2nd, it will be groundhog day where we look at the groundhog and let him make the decision to whether the winter will go on longer or end early.
Happy february!

500 GB vs. 1 TB HDD
Hard Drives are essential and kind of very necessary for a computer. And today prices of a hard drives have gone down big time. There was a point where 40 gigabyte hard drives were HUGE and they would cost around $200 for just one internal one. Now 500 Gigabytes and even 1 terabyte hard drives have come out. You can now get 500 Gigabyte hard drives for around $100 or a 1 terabyte one for around $250.

Pharma Watch Dog
Pharma Watch Dog is an online site, well rather a blog, dedicated to inform you as well as me about the newly found health dangers and just more about health. It has some very useful information on new findings by the government and just basic science.
The Pharma Watch Dog blog helps us keep in mind what the world is doing to keep us safe from new diseases and viruses as well as informing us about the new ones coming out or just discovered. Just think of this as a basic health care website where you can find a ton of information about health and pharmacy and it gets my recommendation.
