Getting Over Addiction

Posted on October 15, 2007October 16, 2007 by LiNuX

Addiction is something no one really wants. Unless it’s addiction to help other people, then you can use it as much as you want. But addiction to alcohol and other drugs such as Painkiller addiction is serious and that just means that you need to seek help. If you are not the one with the problem, don’t worry because if you know anyone or in the future meet anyone that has a problem like this, you can help them out with your knowledge and just by talking to them. And by talking I mean Speak, don’t argue.

One way to help others with addiction is to research information on near drug rehabilitation centers around the area. If there aren’t any close by it’s ok because now you can research any groups that go out to help out people with an addiction problem. If you yourself are the one with the problem, seek out help the same way I am telling you. Addiction wastes time, money, and life, and no one in the world has enough of any one of the three to keep going. Don’t make the mistake and fall into the traps of drugs but go out there and seek to help rather than use just for seconds of pleasure. Helping people can give you pleasure for a life time.

Let your breakfast save your heart

Posted on October 15, 2007October 15, 2007 by LiNuX

Several studies have confirmed that we can decrease the risk of heart disease by giving our body a suitable combination of beneficial fatty acids. Our modern diet tend to be high in certain types of fat and low in others, and one way of shifting this ratio to a more favourable position is to start the day with some flax seed or flax seed oil. If you want to enjoy the benefit of flax seed oil, why not include some grounded flax seed in your breakfast muesli or sprinkle it over your corn flakes? If you want your body to be able to extract the flax seed oil from the seed you have to ground it prior to consumption, since whole flax seeds are to hard for the body to open. Whole flax seeds are an excellent way of preventing constipation, but they will not provide you with any beneficial fatty acids. You can purchase ground flax seed in the store, but you should keep in mind that flax seed oil can turn sour after being exposed to the air. Grounding just a small amount of flax seed is therefore much better. You can use an ordinary coffee grinder or purchase a special flax seed grinder. A grinder suitable for flax seed does not have to be expensive; there are many inexpensive models that will work just fine.

Online Time Capsule

Posted on October 15, 2007October 15, 2007 by LiNuX

Time capsules are normally used to store objects into a little capsule and burying it for later use. Perhaps the capsule will be opened a 100 or even a 1000 years from when you buried it and the people then will know what type of people you were and how you’ve changed the world today. You would be giving the future generations a taste of history. Well did you ever hear of a time capsule on the internet? If you haven’t before, well now you have because I am here to tell you about http://www.the100yearwebsite.com/ which is a website and an online time capsule. It is a pretty cool feature and many people have their products to be held for the next 100 years.

On The 100 year Website, you can upload your text, audio, video, and photos of yourself or anything else and have it held on that site for 100 years. Then it will be opened for everyone to see a 100 years from the day you submit. Now that’s pretty cool. After you submit they will send you a metal branded capsule that contains the certificate of ownership and log in details for your account so you can view what you have stored in the near future. Several UK Celebrities such as Kerry Katona, Danielle LLyod, abd Max Clifford have all signed up so far and they seek to get bigger. Will you store your information to be viewed a 100 years from now?

Flower recipes

Posted on October 15, 2007 by LiNuX

A lot of flowers can be use to make our food nutritious as well as more aesthetically appealing. If you have a banana tree in your house or garden, you can for instance use the banana flower for a delicious banana flower curry. Start by cleaning the banana tree flower and removing the outer leaves. Take away the hard stamen and the hard covering at the base. Cut the banana flowers into small pieces and place them in a pot. (Some cooks prefer to store the flowers in the fridge over night before using them.) Add water, some salt and a pinch of turmeric powder to the pot and cook until the flowers are soft. Remove from heat. Set aside the flowers and use the water to soak 1 tsp of rice and 2 tsp of mustard seeds for 15 minutes. Grind rice and mustard with 3 red chillies until you have a coarse paste. Heat up 2 tbsp of ghee in a pan and fry 2 red chillies (broken into pieces), 1 tsp of black gram dal, 1 pinch of asafoetida, and a sprig of curry leaves for 2 minutes. Add the banana flowers to the pan and stir well. Add the rice/mustard/chilli paste to the pan and mix all ingredients well. Add 2 tsp of tamarind pulp and some water. Cover the pan and leave to cook for a few minutes. Remove from heat and take away the lid. Wait 1-2 minutes before serving.
N.B! Before you start experimenting with flowers in your kitchen it is important to get an okay from a trustworthy source, such as the national institute of health in your country. Many flowers are unhealthy and must be avoided. The popular Calla lilies are for instance known to cause swelling of mouth and tongue, throat ache, eye pain, diarrhoea, and vomiting.

The Hummer H3 is the third member in the Hummer family, a group of civilian cars that can trace their ancestry back to the military Hummer, formally known as the M998 HMMWV. The acronym HMMWV stands for High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle and this vehicle was designed for the United States armed forces to replace militarized civilian trucks.

Released in 2006, the Hummer H3 is the smallest of the three Hummer models and is more of a conventional SUV than a military vehicle. It comes with a GMT345 platform is based on the GMT355, a platform that you can find in cars such as the GMC Canyon and the Chevrolet Colorado.

The Hummer H3 price for the American market ranges from $29,500 to slightly above $40,000. If you want to, you can purchase an H3x trim update and get chrome and body-colored parts that will set your H3 apart from the standard version. AbtElectronics

Ever wonder where you can get some of the best electronics around without looking too far or in too many places? Well AbtELectronics is a store that can help you do that. They carry products from Air Conditioners to Paper Shredders and Speakers to DirecTV TiVo sets. It really is a great place to get some of your necessary electronics. I have searched over the site for some of my needed products such as another good digital camera. I need one with video feature in it and I am searching right now for what works for me.

I always like to go to electronic stores because I love technology. They also have many of the computer accessories I need such as another memory card and a USB Flash Card. It is an online store that is full of equipment ready to be shipped to your house if you order something. They do offer free shipping so you don’t have to worry about paying extra for a little thing like that. I wonder what I can buy on that site now.

Inkjet Remix

Posted on October 14, 2007October 14, 2007 by LiNuX

If you are like me and have three or more printers, you probably waste a lot of ink. I know I do and I usually go through a whole inkjet of color ink in about a month or so. The black ink usually lasts a bit longer, about 2 months. But I do print a lot and that is for school work, some projects I have, research papers, essays, scholarship applications, and basically a lot of things are just for personal use of printing information. I am so glad that the human race was good and smart enough to make the wonderful product like the printer with its inkjets. Without it, I would probably have to copy everything by hand and I would literally go a little crazy. Well because of sites like InkjetRemix.com I don’t have to worry about running out of ink or even straining my hand copying. They have some extremely Cheap Ink on that site. I have seen some ink cartridges that are sold for $4.50 on the site and its original pricing is well over $20. I mean, why wouldn’t you want to save like that? You are just paying a fraction of the whole price, basically a consumer’s dream.

Inkjet Remix sells some of the Quality Ink Cartridges you can find anywhere in any computer store, technology store, or anywhere else on the internet. I have three different printers. All of them are from HP by the way. It’s not because HP is my favorite brand of computers, well it is one of my top favorite computers, but it’s because my computer is a HP product and usually same brand products go well with each other. I have two big printers for my computer and a photo printer for all my pictures from my digital camera. And Inkjet Remix carries all brands including HP, Lexmark, Apple, Cannon, and Dell. Those are some of the largest computer companies in the world. Cannon is more into photos and digital cameras but I am sure you know what I mean.

Well if you need to fill your printer up with an ink cartridge because you just ran out, you now know where to go to get some great deals. You will only be paying a fraction of the price of what the cartridge is really worth so it is basically a win-win situation for you. You win with a great price for a great product and Inkjet Remix wins by satisfying your needs with their cheap prices and services.
